data storage test solutions, announced today the introduction of 4-Gbps
Fibre Channel analysis support for the I-TECH PowerFrame™ Storage Test
System. The 4-Gbps Fibre Channel PowerPak™ is a high-value solution for
monitoring and testing storage devices and SAN components at this advanced
speed.
The 4-Gbps Fibre Channel PowerPak plugs into the PowerFrame Storage Test
System along with the MP PowerPak (supporting 1- and 2-Gbps Fibre Channel
and 1.25-Gbps Gigabit Ethernet) and the SAS PowerPak (supporting 1.5- and
3-Gbps Serial Attached SCSI) for a truly multi-protocol analysis system. The
PowerFrame is a scalable test system providing support for all current and
emerging protocols and transfer speeds. The PowerPak supports four channels
of analysis and is field replaceable.
The 4-Gbps Fibre Channel PowerPak features Satellite® software with powerful
filtering, triggering, and searching capabilities. Prefiltering extends
trace memory depth to gigabytes, which allows users to capture only the data
of interest to them, decreasing troubleshooting time. The Capture Strategy
Builder is an easy-to-use tool providing uncompromised capability.
Strategies can be configured to simply trigger on a specific event, such as
a frame or a primitive, or as complex Boolean structures and message and
counter sequences. Satellite software provides searches on frames,
primitives, and errors in a matter of seconds, regardless of the length of
the trace or the number of channels capturing data.

PowerFrame Storage Test System.
