ALISO VIEJO, Calif.- May 16, 2002 -QLogic Corp. (NASDAQ:
QLGC), the company that simplifies storage area networks (SANs),
today announced that EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC) has qualified
the QLogic SANblade 2310 Fibre Channel host bus adapter (HBA)
as E-Lab Tested(tm) with award-winning EMC CLARiiON Enterprise
Storage systems running in Netware, Linux, Windows 2000 and
Windows NT environments.
With the qualification, QLogic SANblade 2 gigabit per second
(2Gb) HBAs are also available to Dell customers who purchase
Dell | EMC co-branded 5300, 4500 and 4700 information storage
systems. QLogic SANblade 2310 HBAs enhance Dell | EMC storage
solutions with the ability to boot directly from the fabric
and support for cluster environments and standalone applications.
