announced the cross-certification of IPStor with the GFS-8
switch. The combination of products bridges remote Fibre Channel
(FC) based Storage Area Networks (SANs) across IP networks
with end-to-end Synchronous Data Mirroring for enhanced business
continuity.
The SANcastle family of border switches with unique OpenIP™
architecture provide guaranteed delivery of data across optical
networks – local or distant. FalconStor’s IPStor
complements SANcastle’s switches by providing storage
services such as synchronous mirroring, SAN-based services
over Fibre Channel, IP/iSCSI, and NAS-based service over the
