On June 3rd 2009, the FC-BB-5 working group of T11 Technical Committee completed its work and unanimously approved a final standard for FCoE. As a result, the T11 Technical Committee plenary session approved forwarding the FC-BB-5 standard to INCITS for further processing as an ANSI standard. This is a major milestone in the final ratification of FCoE.
